Turn of the Screw
In this show, my responsibilities as an Assistant Lighting Designer included editing and updating the light plot whenever there were plot notes, configuring the Lightwright file and managing the data exchange to produce paperwork, attending rehearsals to take notes for the designer while also tracking potential spotlight cues, and creating the spotlight operator's paperwork, among other duties.
Since the show was double cast, different spot changes were required depending on which cast was performing. As such, multiple sets of paperwork needed to be produced. Further, the number of spot cues in the opera dictated that a more succinct cue list needed to be created for the spotlight operators to run off of, which I created in excel. For easy tracking and manipulation of cues, I created the master cue sheet in Filemaker Pro.
